Not sure why but for the last 3 yrs Ive had so many issues with chillers. I first Bought a new 1/2 hp ( rated for 300g) for my system only to find out later it was too small for my tank. Yes I will tell you, My tank is a 225 with a small sump at that time. So I then picked up a used 3/4 chiller on RC only to find that there was a small leak in the coil. So then I said to my self screw this. I whent big and picked up a new 1hp Oceanic Chiller ( $1400). A few months later I had some problems with it. We whent back and forth with tech support with parts. It ran for another 6 months then more BS. I got back on the phone with tech, they sent me more parts and still not working 100%. Yesterday my tank climbed to 82 so I was steaming myself. I called tech support voiced my concerns and with out a snag there sending me a new unit free of charge. And beause of the size the told me I can keep my other one, thats now working fine. Wow this is great news.
