I'm with the others on IC Gel, best I've ever used, but I don't see it on your link If Saltwater Critters carries it (and I assume they do), you'd have it in a day if you ordered from them :)

I've used a bunch of things -- any thickened cyanoacrylate gel will work. However, I have to say that IC-Gel is the best thing in the most convenient package that I've ever used for superglue. Loctite superglue gel is basically the same thing, and available at any hardware store, but more expensive.

The tubes are much better than the bottles, both for control and because, if you put the applicator tips on right and tighten them down well, you can use them underwater without screwing up the whole tube. Usually. ;)

gee, I?m out of the loop on this. to me they are all the same. I just don't like the tubes of crazy glue. they get crappy and the tips clog.
I use the Boston farms thick purple crazy glue in the nice bottle. Squeeze a little out on the plug then pinch the sides of the bottle to suck the glue back down the tip. No clogs and the bottles last for ever. no matter how you squeeze the tubes it still comes out. To messy for me.

I haven't had any problems with that happening with either the IC-Gel or the Loctite glues. They've got well-engineered caps, and so long as you wipe off the tip of the applicator before you put it away, they're ready to go the next time you need them.

IC Gel

Ryan, the consistency of the gel is nice and thick and permits use underwater if you need to do it that way. FYI, there really isn't any glue that will work when used with mushrooms. It'll work fine with zoa's and palys.

My favorite is Boston Reef glue and it's Accelerator (both products are sold separately). I like it because the first part is like regular super glue and the 2nd part the accelerator is optional. However, I spray the 2nd part to have the glue dry immediately, so I can put in tank in seconds.

However, not cheap.

Also, when I buy the inexpensive $2 super glues at CVS, I get a very small amount. I rather pay $10 or so for the larger Boston Glue because it is easy to apply and lasts longer.

Larry, have you had an opportunity to try the IC Gel? The BAF Reef Glue is just too thin IMO. Just as water would spread quickly to 'find its own level', the Reef Glue does too. The great part about the IC Gel is the viscosity of it. Being as thick as it is permits the user to embed the frag into the glue so that adhesion is much better. The quickness of drying is not an issue with IC Gel. It basically dries when submerged in water. It also works out to be much less expensive than the BAF products.
