Oct Recirculating vs Extreme

Hey I'm thinking about get an oct skimmer for my mix reef 120 dt w/ 40g sump. Was wondering is there a big difference between the two?? And the pro's/ con's of the two?

I have both but haven't done a comparison test... yet. I will swap them out tonight and see what results are yielded. I have to clean my Extreme one anyway.

if you want a heavy bioload go with the extreme cone its more sonsistant

Recirculating pulls a lot of skimmate but it's not the same as my extreme. The Extreme is awesome.

Pros on the recirculating is that water level doesn't matter and it can be placed externally freeing up space in the sump. The Extreme...is extreme lol but the body is wide and takes up space which is the sucky thing.

aznt1217 is right i have the 5000 ext extreme cone and love it its a tank you set it once and its done
