so i have a tube anemone that a buddy of mine gave me randomly before he moved. he said it was a "tube worm". haha so i read all about how toxic they are and dangerous after i saw it wipe out 2 corals over night. i just wanted to know if it can sting myself or is it just corals? do you have any idea on what i should do with it or if i made a safe spot for it would it be safe to trust it from not moving and killing everything in its path? could it go in a fuge?

im getting ready to take it out and throw it at the wall so should i be wearing a thick glove or just rubber gloves ok? lol

very pretty....not worth it

Bury them in fine sand with the head allowed to go out. They usually retract if they touch you. They don't move at all since they're buried, so they prefer a slight flow and is also non-photosynthetic so it needs feedings. Their sting is pretty powerful though.

If you're ready to kill it, I'll take it as I already had one for a couple years doing great. You just need to give it its own area. The purple one is more rare, the more common color is orange.

well he has been burried since i got him. he streatched all the way to the bottom of the tank with just his head out kinda in a cave. i have alot of corals and moved some things but if he fully opens and still gets too close to anything else then he is yours.
