i just pull one out today you ,when you open the cap you should see a plactic tube comeing out of the center just grab it with a pliars and as you pull on it rotate back and forth it should come out the one i did today was in there hard

try to run it under hot water for a bit ,it will shrink the rubber seal that is hold in your membrane ,aslo use the pliers when pullingit out

pliers worked for me as well.
hot water might damage the membrane, no?
and hot doesnt usually shrink things, but it may make it softer.

thats what i meant softer I thought he was replacing it ,srry
