I have a Fluva205. When should I change the media, If i should. The filter pad when should that be changed. Just noticed water remained cloudy after feeding.......help!!!!

What are you using this for a all fish ar reef . And what size tank . Your should clean that filter every week when doing water changes and change carbon every mounth.

Bio-media has beneficial bacteria in it. When doing a water change, I would shake the bio-media in the old tank water to "clean" it.

Rinsing it clean with tap water will kill the bacteria.

Replacing it will be a shock to your tank that could cause a crash.

The filter pad can be cleaned more thoroughly.
