should I get an RO unit?

currently Im using one of these:

Ive been using it for two or three years now, it works decently, but Im starting to suspect that my ocasional cyano problems and my (part) of my ongoing bryopsis problems are caused by this not 'cleaning' the water enough.

also, what would be a good RO unit that isnt too expensive (around $120 would be my limit, I think).

you should get a air water ice unit. Its alittle over your limit but its well worth it.

RO should be standard for any reef tank IMO.. one of the cheaper equipment which lasts you as long as you're in the hobby
