So yesterday I got a scissortail goby for my tank - they might not be the most colorful fish but I love their shape. In any case, I knew these guys like burrows and I was hoping it would choose another area of the my to hide in, but of course the first thing it goes for is my jawfish's burrow.
Jawfish aren't exactly the type to accomodate having anything else in their burrows, so I was pretty worried that the presence of the goby would make my jawfish temporarily homeless. To my surprise, the next day I saw that both the goby and the jawfish were occupying the same burrow and not minding each other at all, and they're basically on top of one another in there. Of course, the goby is just squatting while the jawfish is doing all the work in maintaining the burrow. :splitspin
Has anyone else here have their jawfish tolerate another species of fish in their burrow?
