tried that alot. never once did i see them want anything to do with it. there hit or miss. the chemical will at least kill it on the spot. im all for apitasia x. joes juice gets kinda clumpy and did not work on larger ones. kalk mix i hate. the whole hot water thing or iodine did not like either. +1 apitasia x. and just so u know, it does work on majanos as well. did it myself, after one shot...gone for good.

joes juice works great if you want them to double in size. forget that crap get a few peppermint shrimp and watch the aptasia disappear.

If Peppermint Shrimp were a guaranty I'd recommend them (I prefer natural methods first). However, they are always hit or miss.

Going the chemical route, I'd recommend the Aiptasia X.

I did the Aptasia X and it does work but your only getting the ones you can see and get to, I know and understand that peppermint shrimps are hit or miss but I got 4 of them and its all gone

Joe's Juice did not work for me.And for the people who are saying they work wonders after a day or two after use.Ha Ha i have news for you ,they can stay unnoticed in your tank for up to 9 months.How you like those apples?
