I am so sorry.I had two of Mystery Wrasse and both are sold one small like 3" for $250 and one was 5" for $350.I may have more next week.

The price for Black percula is appr. $28

I stopped by this afternoon and bought a dwarf lion. Pat said coral will arrive in about 2 weeks. Like others said before, it's a nice and clean setup. Wide variety of fish that looked real healthy.

I was there this afternoon as well(around 2ish) I must have just missed you D. I picked up some ESV magnisium.
A few stops in brooklyn on the D or N line and a couple of blocks to walk all in all good experience. You Brooklyn folks luck out.

I stopped in Saturday, he asked "can i help you" i said im looking at the moment, Then i asked about the filtration he mumbled something. Then i asked what he plans were on stocking corals, sarcastically he replied i don't know, i said you dont know? he replied sarcastically whatever they have.

Pat, IMO your rude, im in the process of setting up another tank, a 90 gal, and was going to leave a deposit on a Deltec APH 525 skimmer and buy the tank there. the skimmers are reasonably priced.
The pumps were highly overpriced, along with other items. The only time i will spend money there is during his going out of business sale. I think www.fishtankmaintenance.com/ on 33st in NYC is much better. This is JMO.
Pat, Im glad to see some people are happy with you.

Yessongs sorry you didn't like the new store.

I have to give Pat a big thanks for coming through for me last minute. I needed a certain size sump drilled a certain way and it was done in an hour. I needed a Tunze multicontroller because everyone was out of stock on it and Pat pulled one out at a cheaper price than all the online sites I have seen. It's great having a local guy who can pretty much get any piece of equipment that you need.
So far the selection of fish is great, I can't wait to see the coral selection.

Rich, The skimmers are a great deal. Like i said im glad people are happy with him. I walked in there with $1200 in my pocket and walked out with the same.
We joined RC around the same time, and i read many of your posts. Just like your MR reply on the last BAS meeting which i agree with you 100%, If he came off to you the way he did to me you might have posted the same thing.
Mags aren't cheap in bklyn, his prices were a bit high. Along with MM which i do not us anyway. And i wouldn't mind paying an extra $10-$20 if he was a little polite.
So im still searching for equipment, and he lost a sale... Nobody wins!

Sorry to hear that. I have nothing but good things to say about Pat and his store. Maybe it was a matter of bad timing. Since he just opened the store a month ago he is really just starting to get his stock in. So his answer was correct when he said he didnt know. Most of the time the pet stores are at the mercy of the suppliers. Which to say the least is very frustrating.It's not like they build the product to ship out but rather what they can get when they get it.

I also like having a fellow reefer and hobbyist that does understand what we go through, selling me something. I find it easier to talk to someone like that than a Petland discount store pimp faced kid who knows nothing.

But again sorry you had a bad experience. I will spike his coffee before you get there next time.

Saturday was heavy rain all day.I don't remember you or anybody asking me about any filtration maybe it was my partner who you talk to.

Kasei, I know about suppliers. My LFS sells everything that wont survive in our reef tanks. When you hear the owner has a awesome SPS tank at home, & stocks high end equipment, hearing im trying to stock some SPS frags, Croceas,maximas, nice zoos, acan lords

etc. would be the thing to say. Not thinking flowerpot corals, BumbleBees snails, sea fans.

Pat, I just ordered a bunch of PPEs yrsterdy, im still looking for a skimmer & tank for the summer. I will talk with you first. FWIW, we all have bad days!
