I have a refugium in my sump that I never set up and now I am thinking about just setting up a phosphate reactor in that section instead. My question is, how do you set it up and what would it do for my tank? I have all softies/leathers/zoas right now but I am going to get some SPS and LPS soon. I don't have algae problems but my corals aren't growing as fast as I would like them to. I know lighting and algae aren't a problem, I have 500w of MH's and 220w of super actinics over my 90g reef and I haven't had any problems yet. So is the phosphate reactor worth it? Will it help at all or should I stick with a fuge?

u can have a fuge and the reactor. the point to have a reactor is to limit as much phosphates ur introducing to the tank, the way put phosphate is by feedin ur tank and if u not using rodi .
