plumbing two tanks together?

Hey guys,

I have a 20 gallon tank that I would like to connect to a 10 gallon. The 20 will be my main tank with all the live rock...about 30 lbs, along with some corals and fish. The second tank will just be a frag tank with ls in the bottom. The reason I don't want them seperate is because then I have to buy another thermometer and skimmer etc. Is there anyway to plumb them together without drilling them? If anyone could help me out that would be great...I'm kinda new to the whole plumbging tanks together thing.

Put one above the other and use an overflow or put them next to each other and use over flow tubes.

Just make sure you dont get any trapped air or you will have a mess

hmm overflow tubes means nothing to me lol...ill do some googling

If you want I can drill them for you, you just need to buy the bulkheads. I have a drill bit that makes holes for 1" bulkheads so if you want you can come by my place and I'll do it for you I live in New Rochelle not far from the Bronx
