Any LFS in brooklyn/SI/manhattan do free water chemistry checks?

Most will usually check your ammonia and a few other simple tests, but don't expect them to run Alk/Ca/Mg/PO4 type tests, due to the time & expense they take to run.
If you have a reef tank, you should have all of those test kits..and they should have been one of the first things you invested in

I never tested po4 just getting into sps should I test for po4 and why?

PO4, which are phosphates, are the main food source for all sorts of things you don't want in your tank - red slime, hair algae, etc.

I never tested po4 just getting into sps should I test for po4 and why?
