You don't want to add anything to try to reduce water changes. Water changes with ro water are very beneficial in the end and will solve water Par issues like nitrate. If u don't have an ro unit I'd recommend just saving up for one. I had nitrate issues ever since I started salt water. The day I bought an ro unit was the day my tank became happy. According to api test kits it said i was at 180. After a month of water changes using ro I got it down to 15. Nitrate filters will not have such a large result like that that quickly.

here are a few nitrate filters

you do realize they are pretty much just reactors with special media and a pump. if you really want one then just buy a reactor and fill it with nitrate absorbing media. will be alot cheaper. i got a big reactor from PM for 75 bucks. you can spend 25 bucks to fill it with a nitrate reducer and done deal.
