Hanna Checker Phosphate Reagent vs. Photometer Reagent

I'm suspecting that the Reagent used for the new checker is the same as with the bigger photometer. Has anyone tried the old powdered reagent with the new checker and see if the results are the same? I'm guessing that they just want to sell more reagent and seeing how I have almost 500 packets of the old test, I'd like to use them if I can.

The instructions point to the old powdered regent Felix. I just got the checker in last week.

TB Aquatics does, they even donated one to the Swap Raffle last time around

Most places have these meters available now. You could try calling your LFS to see if they carry them but most folks have been ordering them on line.

Thanks guys, that saves me. I have about 10 boxes of the older reagent...lol.
