I have a very establish 6' bow 155 gal.(few years old) Just thinned out drastically of very large tangs, lg lamarck angel, and zebra eel. Fish left, 5-6" blueface angel, very large moorish idol, a pig, and a 8-9" pacific sailfin, bunch of smaller fish, yellowtail damsels, two four stripe damsels, one black clown hosting a colt coral, large spotted hawk, neon dottyback, tons of rock, rbta and rittari anenomes. Was thinking on adding in a queen angel, figured a bit smaller than the blueface, or should I go larger, or much smaller say a 3"er? Input on this please. It would be the last fish.

Queen Angel are very aggressive, especially as they gets larger and they do get pretty big. I would be more worried about the Blue face as in time the Queen will bully it. You want to make sure you get a small Queen. In time the Queen will be charge of the tank and push around the other fish, I would also worried about the Moorish Idol with it.

Also you have a lot of fish for that size tank, a Queen angel, even if you get a small one, will easily out grow that tank pretty fast.

2"- 3" or so would probably be a small Juv., which would be ok but it will grow pretty fast. At that size it would still be cleaning fish, so the Blue Face probably wouldn't bother it. Just watch out through when getting one, as Queens Angels are ich magnets.

Okay, got the 3"er from a nearby hobbiest, first time no qt, did a fresh water dip for 3 minutes, ph and temp match dt to the tee, and put her in. Two yellow tail damsels attached, she held her own, then my moorish idol, with trying to get at her under a rock, low opening to ground cave. Leaving lights off for total of two hours, hope all fares well, blueface angel and large sailfin, payed no attention to her, guess because of size.
Will keep all posted, she was eating mysis like a pig before I got her today, that why I took her also.

Got the 3er locally from another hobbiest, did my first fresh water dip, and first time no qt, got him, because the guy showed me he was a pig with mysis, blueface and large sailfin payed no attention, two yellow tail damsels attached, and she held her own, plus my moorish idol, was trying to get her under a rock, in a small cave, have seen her a few times, and majorly picking stuff off a rock, will keep all posted.

3"er is doing fine, actuall comical looking compared to the large fish in the tank, eating all, love frozen mysis the best, and all types of pellets, including NLS, etc. He is now swimming all over the tank, but has his own little cave he retrieves to.
