i have a 30 gallon oceanic tank in the bedroom. right now its has softies and anemones. I am looking to go SPS with the tank.

I do not want to run a sump on this tank. Right now I have a tunze 9002 in tank skimmer but it wont keep up

My budget is like $300 dollars. so far i have came up with these skimmers based on some browsing.

i wanted to get a deltec mce600 but 550 is too much for me.
Let me know what you guys think and any recommendations you may have

Eric,

As you probably read, the AquaC Remora, gets great reviews and not good reviews. I love the drain feature, so that I don't have to drain it often. Just goes down my drain. This is an awesome feature. Also, never have to worry about water height. Tremendously easy maintenance and is made solid. I have the AquaC remora pro in my 55 gallon. However, I have the larger pump. That really helps. So I would go with the largest pump recommended for this skimmer. Works great.

I also have the Tunze 9002 in my Solana. Many people love it, obviously, you don't. It does pull a lot out. Mine is finicky, but does a great job.
