Skimmer Pump Help

Last night I was cleaning my skimmer and the part that holds the air line broke on my skimmer. The pump is a resun pumps king 225f needle wheel skimmer. When I called the place where I bought the tank set up they said they could not help me that they do not use that pump anymore( Great customer suport Not!) This post is not to bash them but to get it replaced they told me that resun is a very big company and should have no problem getting a new one. I think my google skills are good but still could not find it.

I temp fixed it but would like to change it. when I do a search I dont come up with the same pump

Anyone know where I can get the pump or one the same size or does anyone have a dead one or extra one that I could get parts off I need the part that holds the inpeller in and hold the air line.

I would like to chance just the pump dont want to replace the whole skimmer it is in a tight space

did you try to glue it
what is it made of so someone on here can recomend a fix

Do you have pictures? It sounds like an easy fix, but it'd help to see a pic.

I got it fixed but wanted to get a new one before it totaly goes!!!

I had the same problem, after a lot of searching I found a direct replacement pump. You will have to use your needle wheel and venturi setup from the resun king 225f. Perfect fit, I just did mine. Search the net for a Hampton HWGK 225 pump.
