I wanna do a water change this week and the closest local fish store sells already mixed salt water for about $4/ gallon. I know, its ridiculous. Anyways. The Petco right down the street sells a packaged already mixed salt water pack with 5 gallons of water in it. I think its made by Instant Ocean or one of those brand names. Any thoughts? Anyone see a problem w/ me using this? Should I not use this for a water change? I plan on getting a RO/DI unit, but waiting a little bit before I do. Thanks.
Any Issues w/ the Packaged Already Mixed Salt Water that you guy at Petco?

Packaged water is fine, I use to use the Petco water all the time when I had my nano cube with no ill effects. I currently buy my water at my local LFS but its only $1 a gallon, $4 a gallon is INSANE!
The packaged water doesn't go old, does it? Looks like a pretty run down Petco. Looks like it might have been sitting there for awhile, but not positive about that.

Check for an expiration date.I don't think it goes bad since its in a sealed container but I could be wrong.
Hey, honestly for the time being, I really don't mind buying this for $10 for the first couple months. I got a 34 gallon tank and will use the entire 5 gallon packaged salt water pack, every 2 weeks. Just as long as people don't think I'll have any issues using it. Looking for people who have experience using this kind of packaged water.
