I have a Kent Marine ATO. It seems that the water seems to be filling up even when the float valve is up already. My sump is at a higher level than normal. The ATO is gravity fed from a 5 gallon Poland Spring Bottle. Any suggestions?
The tube that empties the water into the sump.... is it submerged in water? If so try raising it. Not the float switch. Also try making the Poland spring bottle level with the sump.
Sometimes it gets like that and then the return sucks the water back in the DT which brings the level down in the sump where it should be. The Poland Spring bottle doesn't have to be above the sump for gravity feed?
Anything gravity fed for your sump, should be higher than your sump or a check valve placed to prevent back siphoning. R u using a airline tubing with gang valve to slow the drip. Anytime Gochi.
I am using the airline, but is the gang valve connected to the float switch? Because there seems to be a dial that you can turn right next to the float switch on my Kent.
