Recently I've been fighting the battle of the ever elusive, multiplying and just plain PITFA aiptasia.

I used aiptasia-x with some good results only to find that where one stood, now I have three.I'm hoping that someone will hear my cry and help.before it gets out of hand, I have approx. 8 now small ones.

This is my proposal, I am looking to see if any member here is willing to loan out either a copperband, or peppermints or anything alive that will help eradicate this problem once and for all. we can discuss a payment or something, until then i will continue with aiptasia-X.

Peppermint shrimp are like 5 bucks at manhattan aquariums or even petco fyi.

Thanks for the information, but you miss the point of the thread. As many reefers know all the animals I mentioned are known to eat aiptasia, however it is not guaranteed. They may or may not eat the aiptasia, leaving the hobbyist with inhabitants that he/she would not have bought initially.

In addition to the aiptasia-x I also had a few peppermint shrimp. The shrimps did nothing for my cause, hence the purpose of this thread. I've seen a few sea hare loaners. I thought I might hit a nerve with a few "aiptasia breeders".
