Hey guys I just got my RO/DI unit from aquasafe, I have it all setup, but dont want to take the risk of attaching it to the coldwater pipe underneath my sink. I know its just piercing a valve, but how do I turn off the ro unit when Im not using it?
I know a lot of people have this unit on the boards, so pics and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

To turn it off .It comes with a valve (blue color) located above the 1st 3 chambers of your unit ,turn tht valve to turn on and off
it also come with a drain connection (2 black pcs ),(yellow tube ) that should be connected to your drain under your sink

If your talking about the orange line to the left side of booster pump that is a flush kit for the membrane (white valve w/blue handle) and and adjustable flow restrictor (mounted vertically between tees)

Clear line to pump with ball valve is just feed line from water supply to pump. It is coming from ceiling and just makes a u-turn back up to pump inlet.

Orange line is coming from membrane waste which as you can see changes to a blue colored line after bottom tee. Blue line goes to slop sink for waste water drain.

flush kit when opened allows water to bypass flow restrictor

set up everything myself. Unit was originally kent unit with 3 chambers plus membrane. I added 2nd carbon and 2nd DI. Added booster pump due to the fact that I have well water and only hold about 40psi water press without using it. With pump press stays at 90-100psi. Kent was 35gpd and I changed to 50gpd.
Also installed the outlet box as not to have extension cords running everywhere.

Wait till you see pics of my plumbing on tank
