Welcome to MR bro.Can you tell us more about your setup ?As far as UV goes, you need the right amount of water going through it and the right wattage for it to kill free floating ich.If you're not planing on getting a whole lot of fish don't buy one.Or you can buy one just in case you need it.This is my personal opinion,I don't have one on my reef tank .

I have a 72 gallon bow tank with about 90 lbs of live sand / crushed coral. 150 lbs of live rock a few torches mushrooms leather coral pollops rose anatomy and about 10 small fish. I have 4 t5 lights With 2 at blues and 2 full spec bulbs. My refugim is a CPR pro with skimmer. In it I put 2 inches of mud then about one inch of sand with plants I believe it's culurpa. I also have the flu-vale405

Sounds like your tank been up and running for a while, nice.Try and keep your tank stable temp etc, feed the fish a varied diet evey day and don't get any more fish.Share some pics when you get the chance.

Please do post some pics! :)
A listing of your fish would also be helpful.

Regarding the UV light...I tend to not like to add these to a tank unless it is necessary to help with a particular issue, like cloudy water or an Ich outbreak. Do keep in mind that a UV will kill whatever bacteria passes in front of the light, both good and bad bacteria.
I think your 'power' budget would be better off spent by perhaps adding a pump to keep the surface of the water as agitated as possible with 10 fish in the tank.
