re; pvc cutter

Does anyone have a pvc pipe cutter that I could borrow that cuts 1.25" pvc? I have one but it only cuts up to 1.125" in diameter.

Could meet in the city or if there is anyone out there in North Jersey that would be great.

I'd treat for one of those expensive lattes at Starbucks

yup, no need for pipe cutter like you would use for metal pipe. it would probably leave oil residue on the pipe too.

Don't you need to buy a 10" miter saw for those door and window moulding jobs you wanted to do for your wife??

Yeah. 10" miter saw would be even better. LOL Add on a nice table saw and a circular saw and I've got a good starter set.

PVC cutters are really nice though
Makes the job of cutting PVC's real easy and quick and also very precise.
I dont think they really leave much if any oils. Its like a scissor which you dont really need to lubricate.
Got mine from Home Depot for $10

ming: Thanks for your post. Cut the pvc with a hacksaw and you get a real "rough cut" but I guess for what I have to do it's not critical. (ASM gate valve mod). You get a real nice clean cut with the pvc cutters (wish I had bought the bigger size cutters)LOL

10" miter saw makes a better cut on any size pvc
