Losing Color

Hey,

Summer time has def taken a toll on my tank but could have been worse...
One issue though is that my corals including some monti's have been losing their color. Don't know my alk or mag params but could it be b/c I'm not running the halides in the summer b/c they give off too much heat? Calcium is around 480 and I have coralline spreading all over the place and the rocks are sill very colorful...

That is definatly the biggest reason. What are you subing for your MH atm

I have 4x54 T5's that remained on the same schedule.

But I'm thinking it's the halides...just makes sense.
