For a more natural cleanup (since it does grow back after treating), to keep it nill after treating, I just purcased this snail which is supposed to eat cyano: http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+526+564&pcatid=564 Unfortunately I got too few for my tank (72gal bowfront) so I can't tell if they're making a difference yet (2 weeks).
I agree, red slime remover is great.
