This is my 55 gallon tank and new stand. I built the stand from scratch. It is 42 inches high, 49 1/2 inches long, and 15 inches wide. It is extremely sturdy. I was forced to paint it black (and lost much detail) because the staining didn't go so well. The canopy is not yet done. I also ahve to secure the rockword somehow. As for the sand, I can never get it to stay nice and white (it collects excessive detrius and brown spots.I just battled hair algae, and am winning the battle. I have barely anything in the tank (just four fish, a bicolor blenny, 2 clowns, and a mystery wrasse), a sexy shrimp and an anemone) due to the recent crash. All my inverts pretty much died, along with fish and all corals. Can't afford anything right now so it'll be empty for a while.
