I have an algea blenny and a yellow tang working my algea right now... also i keep cleaning the vertex 100 every week change the phosban every 3 weeks but i should be doing it every week...now just starting to add esv carbon...I`m trying to do this without a water change to see how it might work... But im sure everyone here will say the only way this hair algea battle will work is with water changes but guess what ive been doing them for some time now and the algea is still there i use rodi... reading 0tds... also i dont feed much...once a day!.. :( dont worry bro just keep working on it and it will go away! I know what i said might not solve ur problems but it might just help u feel better knowing ur not the only one going thru this battle...

getting any snail, algea benny, cleanup crew,etc.... is not addressing the source of his problem. he obviously have excess amounts of no3,po4, etc..
unless he can provide his setup and equipment, not much accurate advise can be offer.
my best advise with limited info is get rid of pc lighting, better skimmer, less fish and i pray he's not using tap.

+2 dont treat the symptoms treat the actual issue, cause the HA is only going to keep coming back.
