Manhattan reefs great place to be.

Just wanted to share how great it is to be a part of this board. I have met some really nice people and some have become good friends that I stay in contact with on a regular basis.
The board has really taken off and has been very helpfull to all of us new and old.
I wish when I started in this hobby I would of had a place like this to come too, great deals from people close buy,making it more affordable, people willing to help out the new person on board with any problems they might have.

I think it's awesome.
I am glad to be a part of this site.
Keep up the good work.

HOw miserable are you if you're not around your tank for a few days? I never realized how much I missed one (while out on the road,) until I got my tank back from my ex.

Bad coffee, my tank is the reason why I haven't been on a vacation in over 2 years I'm worried when I come back everything will be dead.

I totally agree. This is the best place to be. I met a few people and they are nice and great!!! Even though there aren't as many people as RC, but everyone here take care of each other. Its like a virus that bring stranger into family..

Go away for a week. hire someone cheap (hint hint) to look at your tank every other day.

I have a list of
if ______ happens, do this________
if this______ happens CALL ME RIGHT AWAY DAY OR NIGHT

my roommates know that a phone call is worth the time saving the tank. (like when my clown decided to sleep on TOP of my cleaning magnet ABOVE the water line.)

I agree Manhattan Reefs is a great place to be. I've met some great people and made some new friends already!
As for the going away part maybe you should try a short vacation, like just a week. if someone is watching your tank not much can go wrong.

Thanks Dave, but HomeReef is basically going out before it had a chance to grow. I recently took on a higher executive position with my corporation that has me flying somewhere different every week and only home on weekends. I have no time to buy or sell, so only the message board will remain around shortly, if I keep the site at all.

This place does rock, many a good reefer have I met here.

Liquid your lil 2.5G is what got me into nano-reefin in the first place, Whilst having a 75G FO I still chose to get a small tank and do it from scratch, Ur tank gave me the nano bug and im if its wrong i dont want to be right

I will post my tank up soon enough, it would be great to hear feedback from ya.

MR.com has a more laid back feel for me compared to RC (too PG rated, feel like im in disneyland sometimes)
