well this week for me havent been all that good! 1st i had red slim. then i used red slim for my tank and it killed my starr and snails also a sea urchin. not i have my phosphate now i think well i kno they are a little to high! right now the are at 0.5ppm can some one please help me and tell me what is the corect phosphate reading i should have in my tank?:(

It sounds to me you overdosed the "Red Slime". This particular brad is about the worst there is as it can rapidly depelte the water of all the O2 killing everything. It has happen to many. Its main ingredient is cyan peppers if it is Ultralife Red Slime Remover. If not then it is either Erythromycin succinate or Erythromycin cetly-sulfate. Either of these, if overdosed, will wipe out the nitrifiying bacteria, which raises the Ammonia up to deadly levels.

For PO4 we try to get it around ~ 0.02 ppm. - 0.04 ppm
