I would like to thank Dr. Harry for letting me come by earlier today. We check ed out the phos and mag levels of my tank water. We also tested the phos levels of my ro water. I currently use the home depot 5 gal buckets but i heard that these buckets leach phosphates into your water. According to our test today, there is no phos leaching from the home depot bucket. The test came back 0. As for my tank water. My phos level was .05. We think its pretty decent for my nano that runs with no skimmer. Plus today was water change day so its the dirtiest water of the week which we used for testing. My mag level came back at 1380 which we believe is a good level. I do not dose anything in tank. All i do is weekly 25% water changes using esv salt. My cal level is 450 and my alk is 3.8.
