Question about Algae

I'm having some hair algae growth around the edge of a few of my acans and the mantle of a clam.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get rid of these?

since I don't know answer yet cause I am a noob, so, I will ask the first question. What are your parameters

With the acans I would use a tweezer to remove the algae and then also use a tooth brush to brush that area. If you tank has it all over then you also need to follow suggestion posted elsewhere to get reduce/rid of it.

thanks i'll try that. its just on the few acans and the clam - no where else
