Why is this bleached??

Hi this coral not sure what it is is the only one in my tank that never really showed polyp extention I bumped it with my hand a week or 2 ago now looks like the tip is bleaching should I cut the tip off ?? Just leave it?? Move it ? Anyone know what it is and what light it likes? Thanks

to me white tip mean its growing

bleached does not mean dead...leave it alone..if algae starts growing on the white area then that part is dead and frag it off...can't tell by the pic what it is, but Jarrett probably is right...growth

that seams super white. is there any tissue on the corals tip? whats your alkalinity at?

Ok I'll leave it btw mike u where totally right about the chalk bass he just likes to hang out in strange positions once offered food he went right for it

I got it from another reefer so not sure it was on a frag plug though

Cal 480
Ph 8.4
Nitrate 5
Phos .25 according to API test kit
Saliny 1.026
And everything is consistent been testing every other day for last week cal is either 460 or 480 temp swings 2 degrees a day
All other corals look good good polyp extention

Gonna let it sit see what happens
