I have the coralife 150 watt pendant. I have the standard ballast that comes with the fixture. The description of the ballast is "an external remote ballast". Is this a magnetic or electronic ballast? Can anyone help me out with this. The reason I am asking because I need to know if a phoenix 150 watt bulb will work with it.

Is it DE or Mongul base ? But whatever it is, it will be fine. As long as the bulb type macth the exhisting one, the ballast is designed for it. :splitspin
