So, I have not been using the Reverse Osmosis system for about 3 months, I left some water inside the tubes, before I used it again I had already flashed it for few mins. I noticed that after using the water from the RO system, all my fish got white spot/parasites? Should I take it out and wash it or it maybe something wrong with the tank?

I m thinking about doing a water change tonight, should I use the RO water or just tap water just in case?

ro water

maybe the ro water that u made was colder ar warmer that the actual tank water, ick lives in your tank 24 hrs a day diffrent things affect your fishes immunity, like water temp, salinity of new water, all of these things apply to your fishes immunity

No reason for you not to do a water change, they could not have gotten Ich from your RO system.

Are you sure your fish have ich? Can you post a pic perhaps?
What is your plan for treating them?
If you currently have Ich in your tank you most likely got it in on a recent fish addition or from a coral frag from an infected tank.
Have you had Ich in your since before now?

A UV light may help a very small amount with Ich - the ich would have to end up IN the UV for the UV to kill it. Considering the majority of free swimming ich would be near your substrate the UV is not an effective way to battle the parasite.

Can't you take the fish out of the tank and treat them properly for Ich?

I have a 30 gallon tank that I can let you borrow. I only used it to store LR prior to setting up my DT. I'm in Astoria so if you want to swing by and pick it up let me know. I also have a bottle of Seachem Cupramine, never used it, and hope to never have to, but I have it just in case. You can take it with you and use what you need. LMK

Thx rebelson and everyone's response.. I do have a small tank for back up. But it will hard to take them out. Recently I got some frag, hope its not from the new coral. I already started to soak their food for 2 days, hope it will help abit.
