What kind of macro will grow in FOWLR?

Hello MR,

I have a FOWLR setup, with 200+ gallons and the following livestock:

1) Niger Trigger ~ 3"
2) Queen Angel (juv)
3) Emperor Angel (juv)
4) Hippo Tang ~ 4"
5) Clown Fish
6) Wrasse

Is there any macro that is not appetizing to these fish - while being able to thrive under t5s? Are all macro super-sensitive to nitrates?

One of my concerns is the height of the tank... it is 36" high - therefore I hope to upgrade to an ATI 60" X 4 prior to attempting macro...

Thoughts? Advice? Experiences? - would be greatly appreciated.

Chaeto, caulerpa, halimeda, and most commonly used macros in refugiums or show tank refugiums are not appetizing to fish.

You might have a chance with the Halimeda and Dictyota, i don't know any fish that eat them.Oh, they are stink as hell out of water especially the Dictyota.
