I have a 50 gallon tank. It was given to me by my friend who found it in the garbage. I love this tank so much because it does NOT have the brace in between, is made of thicker glass, which means I can drill it like I did for my overflow. Problem is, the glass has a bunch of scratch marks all over the front. I doubt they are deep marks. I believe that it could have been me, trying to scrape off algae using a small box cutter blade.

Is there ANY way to fix these scratches? I probably need to lower the water level all the way down but if I have to I will.

Thanks!

I cant use back as front because the back is drilled for an overflow into my sump.

Yeah, if I run my nail down the glass my finger will stop into the crack. crud!

Another guy told me about the rembrant tooth paste too! How does that exactly work? Any sources of its effectiveness?
