chaeto to rock?

Is there anyway to make this attach to rock? I want to put some in my empty fuge, but the flow is too high where it wuld just float to the top and clog the overflow.

if not rock, any other way to get it stay on the bottom?

Hmmm...Put a piece of eggcrate over it...or you could rubberband a clump to a rock and let it grow out with the rock holding it down...

chaeto wont attach to rock, maybe you can try to devide ur fuge in half with soem eggcrate and hold it back

I was just thinking of it staying stuck to the rock via the rubber band or something

just want to say that if your flow is too much through the sump, then you're not getting the full benefit of your fuge. JMO

What I did was buy a hang on breeder/specimen cup (about 10" long and 3x3") and hung it on - that worked wonders as a "fuge" for my 90.

If chaeto is stationary it will grow, but it will become a detris trap and die on th bottom. When I was in Hawaii last year I saw chaeto as big as pillows just floating around. IMO it does best with enough flow for it to tumble around.
