Ronen, you will have alot of detritus buildup with the eggcrate on the tank bottom. Elevate it using some PVC, or you're in for a world of soaring nitrates.

No a big deal for now ,I did this yesterday and my head was not all here ,for now its cool ,also ill use a power for now and a siphon it out . but its alot easier then what i had ,I least what ever gets caught on the bottom will be in the egg crate and i can siphon it right up with no prob ,also if i wanted to do anything its easier to take everything out
also dont forget ,my tanks have about 10 to 20 gal WC everyweek on a 60 gal system .Its a selling tank I exchange lots of water weekly ,i dont think ill have to much of a prob for now

Why do you have it on eggcrate?
before i had it BB it sux for what im doing ,corals would just blow away ,frags would jet lost under rocks ,now eventhing is stable where i put them big or small piece ,also marrone as a good point ,its easier to tell the size of the coral.Ill experiment with other set up later ,for now this will do.

Like Deanos, I was concerned about your nitrate levels from the detritus. What about mounting your frags and corals on plugs? Then you could just have frag racks made from the eggcrate.

itwas alot worse when it was BB cuz the flow pushed the corals .also it a small tank so too much flow is not good for me .Im better off siphoning once or 2ce a month

Siphoning!!? You'd have to siphon each square in the eggcrate! Just lift the eggcrate off the bottom 1" or so and siphoning will be much easier.
its cool for now ,i dont mind it would take ten mins to do each tank once a month ,considering that i wash off all the corals i get before putting them in.
I hated the way i had it last time
ill see how this works for a bit ,if i get sck of it ill redo it ,no biggy
It only took 2hrs to do.this time t will be much easier
