hey everyone i would like to raise my cal about 50ppm. from 390 to 440. how much water do i disolve the cal addative into. im assuming about 1gal.

also i would like ot raise my mag from 1200 to about 1350-1400. any sugestions on the mix to use.

calcium is pritty straight forward on how much to use. mag not so much.

Assuming you're using BRS chemicals but you don't say exactly which ones. For the 2 part you do mix each packet with 1 gal of water. BRS has very good instructional videos but they're even more helpful by phone. I would suggest you give them a call.

well it would be cal carbonate, and i have both magnesiums... sulfate and chloride.

it is not the premixed stuf... its the 7lb containers. this is where the confussion comes in. thanks

yeah i still dont understand it.. lol.... im so dumb with the chemestry stuff. the more i read the less i get lol... i got 125g tank.... total water volume is about 130g with the sump.
