visiting nyc soon, looking for lfs suggestions?

hi guys! sooo one of my parental units will be heading to a conference in nyc soon and i might tag along, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any good places to purchase corals? I'm not from new yorkso i have no idea. not looking for anything to pricey(college student here) . Looking for zoa frags mostly or lps? my system is about a year old now, i only have a trimma goby , some gsp and button polyps so i'd be looking for a colorful things to throw in there.

Manhattan Aquariums for sure. Hands down the best shop in the 5 boroughs.

good to know, thats pretty much my price range for frags, i'd like to pick up 3-5 pieces any other places? or is this pretty much the place to go?

I only do it for that reason. They are also given titles based on there rank in my phone, my father is vice president, and my mother commander in chief, they don't know, I keep that info from them to keep the peace. HMuahahahahaah

Manhatan Aquariums is thee place to go in the area hands down, I don't care what anybody tells you, Manhattan Aquariums is the place to go..I don't think the "pricey" tag put on them is very fair either...the reason being is they offer many large to med colonies which obviously cost more than frags do..they just got finished stocking their 20' frag tank with all sorts of nice stuff, hundreds and hundreds of frags. You would be doing yourself a great injustice if you were in the city and you did not stop by there

+1 on manhattan aquariums, they have from $10-$1000 piece's, theeeeeeeeee widest selection of any store around, by far my favorite store to go too and it is over a hour drive for me

I think it's pretty fair for me to say that they're pricey from a consumer's point of view. But your stance on this is completely understandable.

i can understand the pricing for colonies, thats just not wat i'm looking for lol, i'm a poor college student with a relatively empty nano haha so i'm mainly looking for 10-25$ frags if they have those then i'll be plenty pleased. So mostly looking for a place with "frags" i'll check them out regardless since everyone is so emphatic about how great they are but if anyone has any other suggestions i'll be open to hearing them thanks a bunch.
