i got mine used and after having one i would buy it new also, ive had a few different t5's from retro's to fixtures and this is by far the best i have owned, my 6 bulb ati sunpower is as bright as my 8 bulb tek i had, personally from ur other thread the pastel colors dont bother me, purples get a rich color for me and i havent had any growth problems. ive always liked t5's better myself, reason i always went back to them, the shimmer does nothing for me from mh. personally if i had the $ to light my tank properly with led i would go that route, the color on corals is much more poppin then with mh or t5

ATI sunpower uses aluminum housing, while powermodule uses stainless steel. sunpower has 1 fan per 3 bulbs, PM has 1 fan per 2. that's about it. i went iwth the sunpower cause its cheaper.

I have a 6X39W Power Module.
It's not all stainless, only the endcaps. It is REALLY heavy.

If I had to do it again, I might consider speding the extra $$ to get LEDs.
Definitely the best T5 fixture out there!
