What dry sand to use?

I am going to be setting up a 156 gallon in a few weeks and want some input on sand to use. I want the tank to have a deep sand bed and be burrower friendly. The tank is 60"long x 24"deep x 25"high. How many pounds will I also need for a 5-6 inch sand bed? Here is a link to Caibsea sand. I am thinking maybe the super reef sand.

My tank has the same deminsions 60x24 and I'm using about 100 lbs of the Seaflor special grade which gives it about 3-4" ...it's alittle larger grain so it doesn't get blown around

I like the really fine Aragamax sand then after it all settles I fill in the high flow "bald spots" with some heavy grained stuff.

there was a similar thread to this i added the formula to determine how much sand u need but i 4 got where. if u want to have a better idea on which type of sand u can have a look at the sand in my tank and out. i have some dry sand for sale.

Reefcentral has a sand bed calculator. It will give you an estimate but in my experience, you end up with a little leftover sand after it's all said and done.
