a friend ordered a large tank from them. She spent weeks going over the specs, faxed multiple drawings, etc. She took delivery of the 8ft long tank along side an interstate. They would not pull off of the highway. In the rush to get the tank loaded onto a trailer and get all of the people that came to help her load the tank to safety, she did not notice that they had built the tank wrong. There was a very specific way that the holes for overflow, etc had to be for the tank to fit in her wall. It was not noticed until she got home. She called and they told her tough luck, she took possession of the tank and it was now hers. They agreed that the tank she got was not what was in the drawing that she faxed them, but again stated that she had taken possession of the tank. She had to fight them for six months and had her credit card company get involved and pull the payment back. Is that the company you want to order a tank from? Your money, your choice.

That's so wrong. Glad she got restitution. Not worth the headache for a custom tank.

I ordered a tank from them and made sure they didn't drill any holes for me (after hearing from another MR member that they screwed up the location of the holes). I think if you order one of their standard tanks you would be better off. The overflow cover isn't that great though. You need to make the teeth larger. I went with a starfire tank with no holes and had someone locally (Tim's aquatics) drill the holes for the glass-holes overflow.

They build so many tanks that I don't think they care.

If I were to upgrade I would go with miracles in glass or coast to coast. If you are building a custom tank glass cages may not even be that much less expensive so going with someone else is a no brainer.

Other than the sloppy silicone work I'm happy with my tank and the owner was ok to deal with but I've heard otherwise from others.
