Hey guys I was wondering if anyone tried the MJ mod?

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=717034&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

tunze like flow at mj price!!!

Seems like a great mod! I know everyone has at least one MJ somewhere. I want to try this but I was wondering if you guys know of any hobby shops in the area that would sell the needed parts. (shipping is crazy! 7.99 for $10 order at tower hobbies)

anyone want to do this and split the shipping?

Ive done it, its not that great IMO, nothing compared to a tunze FWIW more like a wannabe SEIO that doesnt always spin the right way

you might get 200-300 gph more out of it but its a PITA to make it spin correctly after any break in the elec.

tower hobbies, theyre the most complete hobby store on the internet IMO. Theres several variations just make sure uve got the best one and give it a shot, you always learn from DIY!

A maxijet is what it is, modded or not but a Tunze will always be a superior to it no matter how you mod it. If you want to have flow increase just get a eductor/penductor. That way you will not have an open blender in your tank.

Yeah there was one of his clowns breeding that my wife calls "fish porn". It is pretty funny I was on the computer and she came by with her usual "Are you on those fish websites again! Oh My G_D! You're watching FISH PORN!!!!"

hahahahaha
