Which tds

Is any tds meter good ive seen some for about 15$ would they be good?
I'm still trying to find out what's going on with the hair alage in my tank?
Wondering if my 3 stage rodi unit isn't doing it's job so if someone can recommend a decent cheap tds i'd like to check it out!

I would recommend turning your 3 stage to a 4 stage by adding a standing DI resin after the membrane.

If you want you can come to my house and check out my setup. I was battling some nuisance algae and I stopped dosing kalk and starting dosing magnesium and that seems to be helping a lot.

Is the membrane the chamber on the top of the unit?
And the blue line is the clean water right?
I'm also suspicious of this unit because it supposed to be 50gpd but it fills a 5 gal bucket in about an hour and a half

the membrane is on top. the blue line on mine is the good water the red is the waste

My ro unit goes from the 5micron sediment to the 1 micron carbon block through the membrane then through the DI resin and I get 0.00 on my TDS
