Freezer burn on frozen food

Just curious in knowing if i should not use my frozen food that has freezer burn? for some reason my food keeps getting it.. i place food in freezer bags and still builds up? is it normal/safe still to use?

If the bag is completely sealed with no air in the bag, it should prevent freezer burn. If there is air in the bag, or if the bag isn't sealed, you will get freezer burn.

I still use mine the fish don't seem to mind but is the nutritional value effected?

try lowering temp on the freezer a bit
