so thre really is no way to find that sand anywhere around...... that kind of stinks.

I agree.
The irony of this is the sand is mined for industrial use. It sells by the ton. The challenge is finding a buyer who has it laying around and doesn't mind you bringing a shovel.

I used to sail around the island where this is mined. There are ships that export this in bulk. Ocean cay Bahamas is where it's from.
