Hi,
I new on Manhattan Reefs and am starting up my tank after 15 years. I'm looking to purchase an RODI. I found the following unit on BRS http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/75-gpd-ro-di-5-stage-chloramines-plus-system.html. Has anyone purchased an RODI unit from them? Pros / Cons? Is a TDS meter necessary and worth spending the extra money for it? Last question, should the RODI unit be installed before or after my water softener? thanks in advance for the responses.

good unit but u can find them cheaper in the marketplace. a TDS is necessary cause it will give u a heads up that ur filters need to be changed. i have mine pluged in before the softener and im not having any issues.

Make sure you can get replacement filters. I have heard some BRS filters are proprietary.
