i tested my mag about a week ago it said 1150 so i tested afew more times to be sure and still 1100 to 1150 so i started dosing mag.
today i tested my water right out of my mixing tubs to see what the mag is in a fresh batch of salt water (d-d salt) for my water change (40 gals) and the mag is 1100
i was using oceanic salt and switched to d-d pro plus salt and the water in my tank (150 gal) of it are from the oceanic salt i did a 20 gal water change last week and a 40 gal water change today
so the water in my tank and from the batch of oceanic salt and the d-d pro plus salt are all at 1100-1150
I'm thinking BAD TEST KIT what do you think:irked:
